Vila Alexandra was a really pleasant surprise – I knew it looked nice when I saw the pics on Booking.com, but it was even better in person! The bedrooms are very stylishly laid out and modernised, the same standard and quality as many of the DoubleTree Hilton hotels I have stayed at, and the toilet and shower room was superb. There is secure entry to the building, and the hallways and staircase are also beautifully finished. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the main train station and bus station, and a similar walk into the town centre. It really is an ideal spot from which to explore Sarajevo.
